Independence Day: Guy waves American flag in all 50 states (Video)

The United States men’s national team might have been eliminated from the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, but it isn’t time to let the patriotism die down. This weekend is the 4th of July or Independence Day.

So while you’re planning to get wasted, grilling cheap hotdogs and drinking hopefully domestic beer pool/lake/ocean side, remember what it is all about, America. This guy, ‘riceman2011‘ from Texas, went around the country traveling to 50 states which is pretty incredible on its own.

But at each state he waved the American flag and video taped it for an incredible montage. Some of the states’ locations are notable landmarks, like the bean in Chicago or Times Square in New York City. SOme are welcome to so-and-so state signs at the border.

Some are landmarks you might not have known existed and some are just odd peculiar choices. For instance, I’ve lived in Texas for 23 years of my life and I have no idea where he is at. There are so many notable things to see in Dallas, or generic for that matter. A rodeo, NASA, the Austin state captial building, the friggin’ Alamo?! And he is from Texas so this should’ve been the easiest one out there.

Fortunately he included a list in the description so it wouldn’t keep me up at night, it is Rice University in Houston by the way.
