Rumors regarding the iPhone 6′s look and size have been running wild for the last six months, and now videos are popping up showing off the differences between the iPhone 5/5s and Apple’s newest flagship device.
Chinese sire iFanr has posted a new minute-long video that gives fans a sense of just how the iPhone 6 will feel in your hands compared to the iPhone 5/5s. This video appears to include the genuine new front panel for the iPhone 6, which differs from the other mockups we’ve seen for the new device.
The new larger version of the iPhone, which is expected to include a 4.7-inch model as well as a 5.5-inch model, clearly sidesteps the late Steve Jobs’ idea that a user’s thumb must be able to comfortably reach all four corners of the screen. Apple seems to be okay with forcing owners to use two hands for most of the time the phone is in use.
With constant size increases by phone companies, it’s only a matter of time before iPhones start looking like this.
FanSided reached out to Apple for comment on the legitimacy of the supposed front panel. Unfortunately, the company could not be reached for comment. The iPhone 6 is expected to launch this fall, with an official release announcement in September.
Sound off FanSiders! What do you think of the video? Is the idea of a larger iPhone growing on you? Leave your thoughts in the comment section below.
