Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest: Records for men and women

The annual Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest is finally here as we invade Coney Island for the 98th time with the best competitive eaters in the world.

This year, Joey Chestnut and “The Black Widow” Sonya Thomas will be aiming to continue their dominant run in their field with another strong and record-breaking performance on Friday afternoon.

The most hot dogs ever eaten by a man was 69 (yikes!) and Joey Chestnut will be looking to break his own record on Friday afternoon as he aims for the amazing 70 hot dog mark.

For the women, Sonya Thomas will also be trying to break her record, which stands at 45.
