World Cup: Ángel Di María leaves game early with thigh strain

Argentina and Belgium are squaring off in the World Cup quarterfinals. Argentina took an early lead thanks to a goal from Gonzalo Higuaín, but their fortunes took a hit later in the first half.

Midfielder Ángel Di María, who set up the Higuaín goal earlier in the game, was taking the ball into the box on his own. He switched directions before firing off a shot and ended up hurting himself. He walked away for a couple of steps before laying on the ground in what appears to be a thigh strain.

It is a big loss for the Argentinian team, who was subbed off and replaced by Enzo Perez.
