Elite 11: Missouri Tigers commit Drew Lock continues to impress (Video)
Drew Lock (Lees Summit, Mo. Lee’s Summit Sr.) wasn’t the highest-rated quarterbacks to arrive at the Elite 11 over the weekend, but the four-star recruit and Missouri commit is proving that he belongs in the group with the best in the nation.

The 6-5, 195-pound Lock is a four-star recruit but has more than held his own against some of his five-star counterparts, including Josh Rosen, Kyler Murray and Ricky Town, through two days at the Elite 11 in Beaverton, Oregon.
Lock checked in at No. 2 on the initial Elite 11 quarterback rankings, trailing only five-star Texas Tech commit Jarrett Stidham, and is looking like the Tigers got an absolute steal who should thrive in the offense in Columbia.
The four-star recruit is the nation’s No. 175 recruit overall regardless of position, the No. 5 pocket-passer and the No. 3 recruit in the state of Missouri, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, but is sure to see a boost in the rankings based on his performance thus far.
If Lock continues to perform the way he has early in the camp and continues to find success in the 7-on-7 competitions later this week, he could be a legit challenger to be the Elite 11 MVP.
Lock, whose father, Andy is a former Missouri lineman, is also a standout basketball player and threw for 3,062 yards and 35 touchdowns last season as a junior.
