The war has begun in new TV Spot for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (Video)

No matter how much each side has tried to avoid it, the time has come and the war is about to begin in the latest installment in the Planet of the Apes franchise, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

Earlier today, fans got a look at the film in the form of a new TV Spot that showed the fragile peace between the humans and the apes begin to crumble.

Now, fans are faced with yet another TV Spot for the upcoming adventure that shows what happens when the war finally breaks loose.

After a small band of human survivors come across the camp where the apes have chosen to make their home, there is an immediate tension between the two sides; however, they are able to form a fragile peace.

Unfortunately, when paranoia gets the best of the humans, a chain of events is set into motion that causes the peace to come tumbling to the ground and a war ignites between the two sides.

The question now is, is either side prepared for what is to come?

Here is a look at the new TV Spot for the upcoming film Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.


Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is being directed by Matt Reeves, who also directed the first-person monster flick Cloverfield.

The script for the film was penned by screenwriters Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, and Mark Bomback. Both Jaffa and Silver penned the script for the last film in the Planet of the Apes saga titled Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

The film stars Keri Russell and Jason Clarke as Malcolm and Ellie. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes also stars Judy Greer, Andy Serkis, Toby Kebbell, Angela Kerecz, Gary Oldman and many more.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is scheduled to be released in Digital 3D and Real 3D on July 11, 2014.
