Go behind the scenes of the pilot of The Flash in new featurette (Video)

It has been a couple of weeks since we have seen something new for the upcoming series The Flash; however, with the Fall season quickly approaching, you can expect many new shows to be picking up steam as well.

A couple of weeks ago, we showed you a new featurette that gave fans their first look at Candice Patton as Iris West in the upcoming series.

Now, we have a look at another new featurette. This one takes you behind the scenes of the pilot episode of the series and gives fans a look at what goes into bringing a character like The Flash to our screens every week.

In the new featurette, some of the people responsible for bringing The Flash to the CW discuss everything from Flash’s costume to the special effects, and even Barry Allen himself, Grant Gustin.

Series writer, and Chief Creative Officer for DC Comics, Geoff Johns says that Grant Gustin is the perfect person to play Barry Allen.

“Grant is the perfect Barry Allen.” Johns says. “Because he brings a vulnerability, he brings an intelligence, he brings humanity to it that superheroes desperately need.”

Series star Grant Gustin also talks about director David Nutter and how amazing he was during the audition process and how Nutter reached out to him and made him feel comfortable from the very beginning.

Why don’t you take a look for yourself? Here is a look at the latest featurette for the upcoming series The Flash.

The Flash is scheduled to air on Tuesday nights this Fall on The CW.
