5. The Rockets are offering more money:

Let’s start with the most basic thing in the world: the money. ESPN’s Chris Broussard originally reported Houston’s offer was in the four-year, $96 million range. While that number has shrunk down to four years and around $80+ million since then, let’s get one thing straight: The Miami Heat are not going to offer Chris Bosh that kind of deal. So unless Pat Riley goes Jerry Maguire on Bosh and decides to show him the money, why wouldn’t Houston’s offer be more enticing?

Bosh has long been overlooked as the third option in Miami and although it seems ridiculous to offer max money to a guy who averaged 16.2 points and 6.6 rebounds per game last season, his numbers were easily deflated with more looks going to LeBron and Wade. He won’t get too many more touches in Houston, but at least he’ll be paid to be a team player there instead of being asked to take a pay cut while doing so in Miami.
