LeBron James coming home to Cleveland tribute video

For the first time in four years, LeBron James is a free agent. Just like his first time testing free agent waters, this one has been filled with rumors and speculation. Will LeBron James stay or go?

Entering free agency it was widely accepted that James would stay with the Heat, fresh off of four trips to the NBA Finals that netted him two championship rings. As free agency has moved along, his former team the Cleveland Cavaliers have crept into the discussion. According to a report from Yahoo Sports, James’ agent Rich Paul is pushing his client to returning to northeast Ohio.

"Rich Paul, the president of Klutch Sports, has been funneling belief into the organization that the Cavaliers are in strong position to lure James from the Miami Heat, sources told Yahoo Sports.For years, Paul has confided to people that bringing back James to Cleveland has been something of a mission for him, and he’s encouraging Cavaliers officials to offer no restraint in the recruitment of James, sources said."

That coincides with a separate report that James’ wife and entire inner circle are pushing him into choosing the Cavaliers over the Heat.

The optimism in Ohio has led the Cavaliers to a fever pitch, spending their Fourth of July weekend tracking Cavs owner Dan Gilbert’s plane from the area to south Florida.

We think it’d be pretty cool if LeBron James returned to his hometown to try and help the Cavaliers win their first NBA Championship. So in the hopes that he does return, we’ve made a special tribute video.
