By Josh Hill
The New York Knicks are waiting on word from Carmelo Anthony to see if he’s going to re-sign with them or not, but it appears a decision has been made — according to Twitter. The Twitterverse exploded on Wednesday afternoon when reports that Melo had agreed to re-sign with the Knicks trickled in.

Twitter knew about Melo’s decision, the Knicks did and still do not.
According to Ken Berger from CBSSports.com though, the Knicks have not been made aware of any plans from Melo, whether that be re-signing with the team or signing elsewhere. He does point out that New York isn’t any less confident in their chances he’ll re-sign but they just haven’t received official word yet meaning this is all just another NBA rumor.
Marc Berman from the New York Post also chimed in to say no decision has yet been made by Melo, or if one has been made the Knicks are not aware.
Th just goes to show how last word travels on social media these days as if Melo has indeed agreed to re-sign, the Knicks will be the last people to have heard about it.
