The game’s best player, LeBron James, is a free agent for the second time since 2010.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

Back in 2010, James famously left the Cleveland Cavaliers in favor of joining former Toronto Raptors’ big man Chris Bosh and guard Dwyane Wade with the Miami Heat. Obviously, that decision has paid off – the Heat have played in the NBA Finals in all four seasons they have been together, winning the title in both 2012 and 2013.

Now, all three players are again unrestricted free agents.  It looked like all three would be returning to the Heat and simply opted out to help the Heat secure more talent and sign longer contracts, providing them with more security. However, it now looks like James could really be on his way out of Miami to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavaliers have cleared cap space and can team James with all-star point guard Kyrie Irving, who recently agreed to a five-year max extension and the number one overall pick of last month’s NBA Draft, swingman Andrew Wiggins.

Many believe James is leaning towards the Cavaliers and one writer even reported James had already made up his mind to return to Cleveland.

However, according to Chris Broussard, who cites a source, James will not be making his decision Wednesday.

James averaged 27.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.6 steals per game while shooting 56.7% from the field, 37.9% from three and 75.0% from the charity stripe last season. In his storied career, James has averaged 27.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.7 steals per game while shooting 49.7% from the field, 34.1% from beyond the arc and 74.7% from the free throw line.
