Los Angeles Dodgers found negligent in Bryan Stow beating
By Josh Hill
A Los Angeles jury has delivered it’s verdict on the Los Angeles Dodgers involvement in the brutal beating of San Francisco Giants fan Bryan Stow in the parking lot of Dodgers Stadium following a 2011 game between the Dodgers and Giants. The ruling came after both sides presented their evidence with the Dodgers trying to say that they had no involvement or responsibility for what happened.

The jury that heard the case apparently disagreed. According to USA Today, a jury found the Dodgers were indeed negligent in the beating of Stow back in 2011.
"A San Francisco Giants fan who suffered brain damage in a beating at Dodger Stadium won his negligence suit against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday, but former owner Frank McCourt was absolved by the jury. The jury found damages of about $18 million but said the Dodgers were responsible for only a quarter of the sum. The rest of the responsibility was split between the two men who beat fan Bryan Stow."
The Dodgers even went as far as to blame Stow for his own beating, something that likely didn’t sit well with the jury given how much the case has been talked about in the media beforehand. This probably also didn’t help the Dodgers defense of blaming Stow:
"Experts testified that Stow will never work again and has suffered repeated strokes and seizures. They said he will always require around the clock care."
No matter the reason, the Dodgers are now connected with this case and the beating a fan thanks to the jury’s ruling and it now seems that this tragic incident has seen the resolution that was set out for three years ago.
