The Miami Heat are watching as the wheels are falling off their team and it’s something that has fans very nervous about the future of the team. All can be solved if LeBron James decides to come back and re-sign but with the Cavaliers in fullcourt press to get him, it seems that the roles are reversed from where they were in 2010.

More from LeBron James

The Heat are confident though that they will be able to land LeBron four years after doing it for the first time and that’s the feeling coming out of Miami at this moment. According to Chris Mannix from SI.com, the Heat still believe they can re-sign LeBron and remain confident following their meeting with him this week.

The meeting was overshadowed by what now seems to be an erroneous tweet from basketball blogger Chris Sheridan who stated LeBron was going to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers. That report was followed by a slew of others stating the exact opposite and this report out of Miami suggests that the Heat received no indication that LeBron had arrived at a decision.

He may have privately arrived at one, but the Heat aren’t buying into the rumors and they remain confident that they can bring their superstar back next season.
