Netherlands vs Argentina starting XI for World Cup semifinal

On Wednesday night at Arena Corinthians in São Paulo, Argentina takes on the Netherlands in the final 2014 FIFA World Cup semifinal match.

The winner of today’s semifinal will advance to the tournament final where they will take on Germany, who is fresh off of a 7-1 whooping of host nation Brazil on Tuesday.

In advance of the big match, Netherlands and Argentina have unveiled their starting XI’s for the big game.

For Argentina, the offensive attack will once again be led by one of the world’s best footballers in Lionel Messi. The Argentinian side will also have their usual firepower as they prepare for the quality Dutch side which many believe is the best in the tournament.

Netherlands also received some good news, with Robin van Persie, who was in danger of missing the game because of a stomach issue, suiting up in the starting XI.
