LeBron James to Cavaliers rumors spark huge Vegas odds swing
By Josh Sanchez
LeBron James to the Cleveland Cavaliers is something that is gaining steam. As a result, a flurry of bettors have decided that it would be smart money to bet on the Cavaliers to win the 2015 NBA championship before LeBron officially signs.

As a result, the odds for Cleveland to win the NBA title have taken a drastic shift and the Cavaliers are no considered one of the favorites to bring home the Larry O’Brien trophy.
From RJ Bell of Pregame.com:
"The day after the NBA Finals (6/16/2014), Cleveland’s 2015 title odds were a 60/1 longshot.Currently Cleveland’s title odds have improved all the way to 8/1!"
That now means only three teams in the entire league have better odds than the Cavaliers to win the NBA title in the upcoming season.
Those three teams are the Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder.
If LeBron James ultimately decides against signing with the Cavaliers, we could see the Cleveland odds go back to where they once were.
However, we will not know for sure until an announcement is made.
In the meantime, Vegas will be protecting themselves to make sure they avoid a catastrophic loss for the sports books.
