While some  are speculating that LeBron James will announce his free agency decision any moment now, he will not be doing so, according to a report from ESPN’s Chris Broussard.

Broussard says James still needs to speak with his family.

The wording of Broussard’s report suggests its possible that James has already made up his mind, and simply wants to talk with family before letting the world know.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

If that’s the case, and James already knows, many would expect at this point for LeBron to chose the Cleveland Cavaliers. They have seemingly become the heavy favorite, with Chris Sheridan of Sheridan Hoops even reporting that James heading home is a lock.

"The Decision has been made. LeBron James is returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers, a league source tells SheridanHoops.com.James met with Miami Heat president Pat Riley today in Las Vegas to deliver the news. A contingent of other Heat officials were informed they were not welcome at the meeting, according to a source who spoke on condition of anonymity. An official announcement will be made on www.lebronjames.com, as I first reported yesterday."

Whether Sheridan’s report is spot or not, it doesn’t seem like we’re going to find out immediately.

LeBron spent seven seasons with the Cavs before heading to Miami in 2010. He averaged 27.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 6.4 assists last season for the Heat.
