Dwyane Wade rumors: Miami Heat pushing to keep Wade
When the Miami Heat lost the NBA’s best player, LeBron James, to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday, most believed it was time for the Heat to start over. After all, guard Dwyane Wade is shell of the player he once was and is constantly fighting off injuries and old age while Bosh seemed destined for the Houston Rockets.

However, the Heat have now reached an agreement on a five-year, $118 million deal with Bosh (after the Rockets traded Omer Asik, Jeremy Lin and picks to clear cap space). Now, they are trying to complete a deal with Wade.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, the Heat are now working on completing a shorter deal with Wade. ESPN’s Marc Stein believes they are trying to get Wade’s deal done quickly.
The Chicago Bulls were reportedly gauging interest in Wade but that never really made a lot of sense, at least from a Bulls’ perspective.
Wade went for 19.0 points, 4.7 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 54.5% from the field, 28.1% from three and 73.3% from the free throw line last season.
