If you are the proud owner of an iPhone — or just someone who happens to give into peer pressure and bought an Apple device — there is a good chance that at one time you had a phone that had a shattered screen.
That could all change if you are looking to upgrade to an iPhone 6.
According to the latest iPhone 6 rumors, a patent for the device suggests it could be made of indestructible glass.
The phone would apparently be made of “sapphire glass,” which can withstand more pressure and abuse than you will believe.
Here is the proof:
The idea from the patent is to stack layers of the sapphire glass together to make one indestructible device.
It doesn’t get much cooler than that, especially for those who are looking for a phone that can go through plenty of abuse without having a bulky device or overpriced and oversized case to protect the phone.
