The month of July is almost chiefly set aside for free agency chatter in the world of the NBA, but with the 2014 NBA Draft less than two weeks old, there is a great deal to focus on with some of the teams who don’t have significant free agent interests. Andrew Wiggins, Jabari Parker and Joel Embiid garnered the great majority of the headlines as the draft approached, but with a fairly clear idea of what to expect from those players (Embiid’s injury aside), there is big-time talent buried deeper in this class.

In this space, we will take a deeper dive into ten players that could emerge as “steals” when compared to their draft position. The Class of 2014 was billed, from an early time period, as one of the deepest in the modern history of the NBA, and no matter how the top-5 picks fair, the overall depth of this version of the NBA Draft will be measured by how many players can contribute positively.

Without further ado, let’s go.
