After re-signing Chris Bosh to a max deal and seemingly making progress with Dwyane Wade, the Heat are also showing interest in free agent Luol Deng.
If the latest reports are any indication, there are some promising signs.
According to Marc Stein of ESPN, the Heat are making some progress in their pursuit of Deng which is really all the team can ask for at this point.
While LeBron undoubtedly carried the Miami Heat through the postseason, Bosh and Wade are still talented players.
If you add in a guy like Deng and continue to fill the roster with additional talent, the Miami Heat may not experience as much of a drop off as many seem to expect next season.
