Miami Heat Rumors: Luol Deng has ‘strong possibility’ of signing with Heat
By Josh Hill
The Miami Heat lost out on LeBron James on Friday when he decided to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers but the mourning period has been short if nit nonexistent. Pat Riley wrestled Chris Bosh away from a max contract offer from the Houston Rockets and seems close to bringing back Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem on free agent deals.

Luol Deng remains a big fish the Riley and the Heat want to reel in and form a new Big 3 with and it seems that their aggressiveness is starting to make progress with the free agent forward. According to Marc Stein from ESPN.com, the Heat landing Deng remains a strong possibility as negotiations continue.
Adrian Wojnarowski from Yahoo! Sports notes that a deal for Deng is looking like it could be a $10 million offer from the Heat.
Either way, Miami s starting to go hard after free agents they wants following the burn from LeBron James on Friday. Deng was an option even before LeBron made his decision and he remains an even stronger option now that the heat have a hole at small forward int heir starting lineup.
Deng isn’t a replacement for LeBron but he can step in and help make sure that the beats the Heat miss next season are few and far between.
