The Houston Rockets finally convinced a free agent to sign and that player is Trevor Ariza.

More from Houston Rockets

After missing out on a number of their targets and failing to receive mutual interest from the top players on the open market, the Rockets and Ariza agreed to terms on Saturday afternoon.

Sam Amick of USA Today was the first to report the news.

According to Amick, Ariza’s deal with the Rockets will be worth $32 million over four years.

Ariza is expected to replace Chandler Parsons in Houston.

Ariza had also drawn interest from the Dallas Mavericks, but ultimately decided that Houston was the place he would like to call home for the next four years.

There is still a chance that the Rockets could match Parsons’ offer sheet from the Mavericks, but there is no official news.

The team will have until midnight on Sunday to make a decision.
