Chicago Bulls Rumors: Nikola Mirotic deal worth three-years, $17M
By Josh Hill
The Chicago Bulls drafted Nikola Mirotic from overseas back in 2011 and he is just now agreeing to a deal that will bring him over to the NBA. But while it took three years and a lot of drama to get him here, it seems that Mirotic may be well worth the wait for Bulls fans.

With Mirotic announcing that he’s coming over to the NBA this season to play for the Bulls, the question of his contract has come up as the details were initially unknown. The terms have since been discovered by , who else, Adrian Wojnarowski from Yahoo! Sports.
According to Woj, Bulls fans can expect to see Mirotic in the hometown colors for the next three years at the price of just $17 million.
THe deal is a steal for the Bulls as it averages out to $5.6 million per season which is right in the range they were hoping they’d get him for.
That’s still a lot of coin to be tossing out to an unproven Euro star, but the Bulls love what they see out of MIrotic and so too do other teams. A report on Sunday morning noted that the Bulls rejected a trade that would have swapped Mirotic for a top-10 draft pick this year which tells you all you need to know about how much the Bulls love their new forward.
