When the Seahawks begin training camp on July 25, they may be without Irvin, but there is some good news.
Irvin took to social media to let everyone know he is getting better.
The Seahawks pass rusher tweeted out, “Rehabbing sucks! But man my hip feels 100 times better!
It doesn’t appear that Irvin will be able to get back to 100 percent in time for the start of camp, but Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll has been raving about the recovery he has seen.
“Bruce is going to be up against it a little bit,” Carroll said, via the Seattle Times. “He’s had a fantastic recovery already and he is going to work his butt off to get back. But we are going to have to wait and see.”
Irvin is a guy that the Seahawks move around the formation to take advantage of his athleticism, but if he is able to get 100 percent early on during camp he could be competing for one of the starting jobs on the team’s linebacking corp.
