On Monday night, one of the must-see events of the MLB All-Star Game festivities takes place with the 2014 Home Run Derby at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

More from MLB All-Star Game

There will be a new bracket-style format for this year’s derby, with each league fielding a five-man team.

The American League will be lead by captain Jose Bautista of the Toronto Blue Jays.

For the National League, Troy Tulowitzki of the Colorado Rockies drew the honors of captain.

It will be interesting to see how the new format plays out — or if it will be a complete failure like the new NBA Slam Dunk Competition — but we will be tuning in to see how it all plays out.
