Manchester United is one of the most popular club soccer teams in the world and they are able to turn that popularity into some big money deals with sponsors.
On Monday, Manchester United finalized an agreement with adidas that will make adidas the kit sponsor for the next decade.
The deal was worth a whopping $1.3 billion.
Adidas will be taking over for Nike, who decided not to renew their deal with the team.
The contract will begin during the 2015-16 Premiere League season.
For Manchester United fans, let’s just hope that adidas can do something better with the kits than Nike has decided to do for their last season with the team.

Chevrolet has signed a $559 million, seven-year sponsorship deal with Manchester United.
Between Chevrolet and adidas, Manchester United will be raking in the cash. We will have to see if that kind of money can lead to better kits.
For the sake of Man U fans, let’s hope so.
