Monday night on WWE RAW we nearly got something that all wrestling fans have been clamoring to see. After all of these years, we got some evidence that Sting does have a working relationship with WWE as he was announced as a playable character in the upcoming WWE 2K15 video game. But fans still want to see him in the ring one day, and they want to see him against the Undertaker.

Well, in that case, there is some very good news. Sting still wants to make it happen as well. In a recent interview with the Mirror, he did indeed admit that not only does he want to step into a WWE ring for one last match in his career, he would love for it to be at next year’s WrestleMania out in his home state of California against the Undertaker.

"“I’ve made it clear I’d love to have one last hurrah, one last big match hopefully. And of course I’ve been outspoken about Undertaker being the opponent,” he replies, when asked if he is open to negotiate lacing up his boots for the company.“I know what happened at Wrestlemania where Brock Lesnar broke his streak. I think, or at least I’m hoping, that Taker’s still going to come back and that he’s not done. If he’s not done, and he would consider doing it, I’d love to work with him one time.“I’d love to wrestle him one time before I call it quits.”"

Obviously all of this depends on whether or not the Undertaker will be healthy by the time next year’s event rolls around, as he was said to be pretty banged up following the historical loss to Lesnar back in May.

Nonetheless, this is tremendous news to hear coming from Sting’s mouth as, although it’s happening slowly, we’re getting to the point where he will be in front of a live crowd.

And when he does, he could be face to face with the Undertaker.
