When you see one of his videos, it is hard to believe that Weird Al Yankovic has been parodying the latest and greatest in the world of music for close to 30 years, but that is in fact the case.
Today, Weird Al’s latest album, aptly entitled Mandatory Fun has been unleashed on the world.
In the album, he parodies everyone from Iggy Azalea – yes…he parodied Fancy – to Lorde, Robin Thicke, and a number of other artists; however, there is one that has soared out among the rest, and it may have a lot to do with the incredibly catchy beat – or maybe the hilarious music video that accompanied the song.
The comical musician has released a music video for his new song “Tacky,” which as you can guess, is a parody of the widely popular song “Happy” from Pharrell Williams.
Williams also helped pen the new parody song along with Yankovic.
In the video, we watch as Weird Al sings and dances in one of the most ridiculous outfits you can possibly imagine. Suddenly, he is joined by a number of comedians who you would never have expected to see in these situations. The cameos feature people like Archer star Aisha Tyler, comedian Margaret Cho, Modern Family’s Eric Stonestreet, Despicable Me 2 and Archer actress Kristen Schaal, and even Tenacious D singer Jack Black himself.
I think it is safe to say that there are more than a few moments that you never thought you’d see, especially from some of your favorite stars. There was definitely a lot of breast grabbing going on from Aisha Tyler as she exited her portion of the video.
Also, Eric Stonestreet struts around in this crazy looking suit with lime green pants and a bright pink jacket. I think what scares me the most about this is the fact that he almost pulls it off.
However, I think it is safe to say that one the top of the list of things I never expected is seeing Jack Black twerking against the wall. Yes…I said Jack Black twerking.
You just have to see for yourself. Here’s a look at the latest music video from Weird Al Yankovic’s latest album Mandatory Fun entitled Tacky.
