Transfer news: Juventus not selling Arturo Vidal

NBA Rumors aren’t the only hot summer topic, it also means transfer rumors in the soccer world. One of the biggest names caught up in transfer rumors is Juventus and Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal.

Specifically Vidal has been linked to Manchester United, but the club isn’t interested in selling the star.

“He’s a Juve player. We have never put him up for sale,” Juve’s sporting director Giuseppe Marotta said, via Sky Sports.

“A number of important clubs have asked about him but we have never sat around the table for negotiations.

“He’s one of the main players in this team and we hope to keep him, even though I know that it is often the player that decides their future.

“He has repeatedly said he’s happy to stay here and we hope to continue together.”

Juventus’ reluctance to sell Vidal has reportedly played a role in Antonio Conte’s decision to leave. He has since been replaced with former AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri, who signed a two-year deal.
