The Dallas Cowboys are entering another season looking to get over that 8-8 hurdle and into the playoffs. They once again have a new set of coordinators on offense and defense to help them get there.

More from Dallas Cowboys

There has been some overhaul in the personnel, but running back DeMarco Murray thinks this is the best team he has ever been on.

“I think you can say that, yeah,” Murray said Wednesday, via the Dallas Morning News. “From the leadership we have and the young guys, I think you can say that.”

It is interesting considering future Hall of Famer DeMarcus Ware left to join the Denver Broncos and defensive tackle Jason Hatcher joined the Washington Redskins.

There might be more room though the be optimistic about the coordinators this year, with Scott Linehan taking over the offense and Rod Marinelli taking over the defense.

“I’m excited. I’m feeling great,” Murray said. “Excited to get out [to training camp] and get things going.”

The Cowboys are heading into training camp next week and is optimistic about the offseason so far.

“I think we’re looking good,” Murray said. “I think we had a strong off-season workout with [strength and conditioning coach Mike Woicik] and it carried on through OTAs and mini camp. I thought we looked good, but there’s definitely still a lot of work to do and that’s what training camp is for.”
