Meet Groot in the new TV Spot for Guardians of the Galaxy (Video)

Today has been jam-packed with all sorts of new and exciting tidbits from the upcoming Marvel adventure Guardians of the Galaxy. This is the kind of awesomeness Peter Quill would definitely approve of.

Just a few moments ago, we showed you a new character poster for the upcoming film that featured the blue-skinned bandit Yondu, who is played in the film by Michael Rooker.

Now, we have a look at a new TV Spot for the film that gives us a peek at Rocket Raccoon’s giant tree companion Groot.

As most of you know by now, Groot is being voiced in the film by Fast and Furious star Vin Diesel. His deep and booming voice certainly gives Groot a different personality from the rest of the group, and is very fitting for his rather large size.

Out of all of the actors in the film, he has one of the toughest jobs. Not only does he not have the benefit of his own personal facial expressions and body movements, a similar plight to that of Bradley Cooper who voices Rocket Raccoon, but he only has three words to express everything he has to say; I am Groot.

Why don’t you take a look for yourselves? Here is a look at the latest TV Spot for the upcoming Marvel adventure Guardians of the Galaxy.
