There has been some discussion about moving the NFL Draft away from Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Other cities have expressed an interest in hosting the event if it were to leave New York City and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has narrowed the list of potential cities that could host the event to either Los Angeles or Chicago, according to Sam Farmer of the Los Angeles Times.

New York has hosted the draft since 1965 and the draft is moving from Radio City Music Hall because it is unavailable due to a scheduling conflict.
With the draft being hosted in early May, Chicago might not be a bad choice of a host city. It would be interesting to host the draft in Los Angeles, a team with no NFL franchise though.
Los Angeles of course is host to Hollywood and plenty of large television events and award shows, like the 2014 ESPYs which were hosted last night.
