On Saturday night, rising featherweight star Conor McGregor takes on Diego Brandao in the main event of UFC Fight Night 46 in Dublin, Ireland.
McGregor and Brandao were both ready to throw down during Friday night’s event, so you know when the lights go down on Saturday night at The O2 and McGregor’s walkout begins, the crowd will be on their feet and the energy at the arena will be at an all-time high.
Well, if the crowd happens to be full of fans of Ireland’s own Sinead O’Connor.
According to Luke Thomas of MMA Fighting, McGregor has teased that he may use O’Connor’s music as his walkout.
McGregor teases he might use Sinead O’Connor as his entrance music, which is noteworthy since we rarely hear female voices during entrances.

The last time a notable female song was used at a UFC event, it was Katy Perry’s “Roar” which was used by Miesha Tate in the co-main event of UFC 168.
If McGregor uses O’Connor, the early favorite for his walkout track would have to be “Nothing Compares 2U.”
For a person like McGregor, that title couldn’t be more appropriate as he has been able to turn himself into one of the UFC’s biggest stars in such a short amount of time.
Tomorrow’s event kicks off just after noon ET.
