Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon’s life seems to be spiraling out of control. His NFL future is up in the air and is facing a season long suspension for another failed drug test before being arrested earlier this month on suspicion of DWI.
Many have pleaded for someone to help Gorgon get his life together, including Browns linebacker D’Qwell Jackson. Gordon’s agent Drew Rosenhaus is willing to help Gordon and work with the Browns.
“I’m sure I’ll get together with the Browns at some point before training camp to talk to them some more about all of our clients,” Rosenhaus said Thursday, via Mary Kay Cabot of The Plain Dealer. “We’re talking to them about Jabaal Sheard and a contract extension and I’m sure we’ll talk about Josh some more and continue to work together and do the best job we can for him collectively.”
Rosenhaus said that an appeal is coming soon.
As much of a hard time as Rosenhaus gets, stepping up to the plate and helping Gordon get his life together would be a tremendous story. Rosenhaus has the ability to make an impact in this kid’s life and get it turned around, no one wants to see Gordon slide further than he has already.
