Jabari Parker was not the No. 1 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, but the former Duke Blue Devils star has arguably been the No. 1 attraction in summer league play in Las Vegas.

The Milwaukee Bucks have a future star on their hands with the polished small forward who scored 20 points and added 15 rebounds in the 79-74 win, including this thunderous one-handed reverse dunk that he threw down with authority.

You have to be careful not to get too excited when looking at box scores from summer league play as it is not a clear indicator of success in the NBA, but in the case of Parker, you can absolutely get pumped up for what he will bring to the Bucks lineup and the city of Milwaukee that is starved for a star.

More from Milwaukee Bucks

Parker should be the face of the Bucks franchise for the better part of the next decade and could be the catalyst the team needs to once again compete for a postseason berth in the wide-open Western Conference, especially at the bottom of the conference.

It would not be far-fetched to see Parker average 16-18 points with seven-eight rebounds as a rookie and win the Rookie of the Year Award, especially considering No. 1 overll pick, Andrew Wiggins, will be coming off the bench in Cleveland.

Parker and Wiggins, will be compared to one another throughout their careers and Wiggins is already the subject of trade talks with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Minnesota Timberwolves in talks for All-Star power forward Kevin Love.
