It seems most people are of the opinion that incoming Florida State transfer Jacob Coker should most certainly start at quarterback for the Alabama Crimson Tide this season, and you can now add wide receiver Amari Cooper to that mix.

When talking recently about his potential quarterback, Cooper let it be known how highly he thinks of Coker, saying that he has everything that you could possibly want in someone under center.

Cooper is, without question, the best returning offensive player for the Crimson Tide this season, and given the position that he plays, his opinion on the matter definitely holds some weight.

Since it was announced following last season that he would be transferring back to his home state of Alabama, many have expected that Coker will be immediately slotted in, although head coach Nick Saban won’t acknowledge that just yet. He still would like to take the upcoming camp to see how the battle plays out between Coker and Blake Sims.

Still, though, it’s a great sign that Coker is already winning over his new teammates, especially that man that will be his go-to guy at all times this upcoming season.
