Andrew Wiggins says he’s not worried about trade rumors
By Sam Richmond
Immediately following LeBron James announcing his decision to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers, no. 1 pick Andrew Wiggins’ future with the Cavs became cloudy. James has a reported desire to play with Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love and it’s unlikely Cleveland could strike a deal with the Wolves for the all-star without including Wiggins in the deal.

Wiggins’ future has continued to become even more uncertain, with rumors swirling Friday that Cleveland has offered Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and a no. 1 pick in a trade for Love, via ESPN’s Chris Broussard.
Still, Wiggins says he isn’t worried about all the rumors and remains undistracted.
From Kurt Hellin of Pro Basketball Talk:
"“I let my agent and my support system handle that, I just love playing the game of basketball and I know the NBA is a business,” Wiggins said Friday night after his Cavaliers had played their last game in the Las Vegas Summer League. Is all of this distracting, especially with family and friends asking him about it?“Not at all,” Wiggins said. “If it’s someone important, family or friends, you kind of tell them what you know. But if it’s not, it’s mostly in one ear and out the other.”But is he worried?“No. I just play basketball man wherever I go.”"
It would undoubtedly be a better situation for Wiggins to remain in Cleveland and compete for championships while learning from James than heading to a rebuild in Minnesota. But, like Wiggins alludes to, it’s out of his control. So it makes sense that he’s trying to do his best not to concern himself with all the rumors and reports out there.
