While few would ever encourage behavior, when a fan runs onto the field the first reaction of many is to cheer. While the momentary pause in action is slightly irritating, it can be somewhat amusing to see a fan get absolutely blistered by a security guard who drops a blindside tackle on the unsuspecting trespasser.

More from Arizona Diamondbacks

Of course, there is always the occasional fan who channels their inner athletic hero and displays moves that would make talent evaluators envious and that happened Friday night as the Arizona Diamondbacks hosted the Chicago Cubs.

In the top of the ninth inning, the fan (rocking what looked to be Arizona State gear) made his way out of the stands and into the outfield where multiple security guards gave chase.

Things looked as if they’d be coming to a quick end but few realized the athletic ability of the fan who promptly began busting out video game style juke moves.

After slipping through the grasp of one guard, the fan give a shake and dip to another before escaping the grasp of both, much to the appeasement of the Arizona crowd.

Knowing his moment of glory was soon to come to an end, the fan decided to just give up as an exhausted crew of security guards slowly made their way towards the man who was laying on the outfield grass waiting to be escorted off.

The Diamondbacks defeated the Chicago Cubs moments later.

It may not be the best I’ve ever seen, but those were some impressive moves. Maybe the Arizona Cardinals could be of interest.
