Sun Belt Football 2014: Louisiana-Lafayette unanimous pick by coaches to win conference

The Sun Belt is one of the more enjoyable conferences to watch during the college football season as a whole, and this upcoming season should be no different whatsoever. With that being said, the coaches have turned in their preseason votes, and they see Louisiana-Lafayette coming out on top in the conference once again.

Head coach Mark Hudspeth is building a bit of a power down on the Bayou as of late, and a repeat performance of winning the conference championship this season would once again confirm that. And sadly for Ragin’ Cajun fans, land Hudspeth a more lucrative job at the FBS level.

Last season, he and this ULL team went 9-4 overall on the season with a win in the New Orleans Bowl against the Tulane Green Wave.

But as you can see by the votes, if anything, to claim that championship once again they’ll have to hold off a very good Arkansas State team that will be looking to get back to the top of the Sun Belt mountain.
