Bon Jovi’s group vows to keep Bills in Buffalo

The impending sale of the Buffalo Bills has caused a lot of uneasiness in Western New York, with residents worried that an owner could take the Buffalo Bills out of the region. Particularly in regards to a leadership group from Toronto that includes rockstar Bon Jovi.
From the Associated Press:
"Rocker Jon Bon Jovi is part of a Toronto group that has retained a banking firm and submitted paperwork expressing interest in buying the Buffalo Bills, three people who have reviewed documents regarding the sale process told The Associated Press on Friday.…The three people spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity Friday because the process is private and the Toronto group has not revealed its intentions."
Former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and NFL analyst Ron Jaworski thinks Bon Jovi will “do the right thing” and keep the Bills in Buffalo. That isn’t necessarily a convincing testimony to the Toronto group’s intentions. But now there is a report from John Kryk of the Toronto Sun that supports Jaws’ claim.
"Sun Media has been reliably informed by multiple sources that the sole Toronto group bidding on the NFL team is now telling people, and will tell the trust overseeing the sale of the Buffalo Bills, that it is committed to keeping the NFL franchise in Western New York."
That doesn’t mean of course that they will, it could all be an effort to keep the heat off. Fans are certainly skeptical about it.
