Dario Conca scores a stunning goal for Fluminense against Santos

The World Cup is over and the big European leagues won’t kick off their seasons until August, but there is still plenty of quality soccer to watch. In Futebol Brasileiro, there was a game between Fluminese FC and Santos FC.

To the casual fan, Santos is the former club of Brazilian superstar Neymar before he went to Barcelona.

The game was tied at zero goals a piece at the end of the first half. In the 62nd minute, there was a moment of soccer brilliance. Darío Conca got the ball headed to him in a bit of open space outside the box by a teammate. Darío Conca drove his left foot through it and the ball rocketed towards the cross bar.

It hit just underneath the ball and into the back of the net, out of the reach of the keeper. It was an incredible strike and a world class goal.
