Red Sox outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. throws ball over centerfield wall from home plate (Video)

There is a story that Bo Jackson once threw a football and hit the roof of the Super Dome. I think this feat Boston Red Sox outfielder Jackie Battle Jr. just pulled off might be come some kind of trend like this.

In a creative way to show off his arm strength, Jackie Bradley threw a ball over centerfield wall from home play. The equivalent of a home run, just without the bat. The video makes it hard to see, but a reporter announces it and explains what is going on, plus the reaction of the players seems to verify that it actually occurred.
Could it all be a decoy or ploy? In response to the video a friend said “anything to take the focus off his .217 batting average in the big leagues.”
Nevertheless it is impressive, and it will be interesting to see what other major leaguers will attempt the feat to show off their arm strength. I think it would’ve been more impressive if he could’ve cleared the Green Monster, when is someone going to attempt to do that.
