The Buffalo Bills placed left tackle Cordy Glenn on the Active/Non-Football Illness list, but there hasn’t been much explanation as to why. Bills head coach Doug Marrone was asked about it but he declined to elaborate on it.

From WGR 550 Buffalo:

"“I don’t know that. It’s a medical condition. I’m preparing to go on as if he’s not playing, which he’s not,” Marrone said. “I’m just waiting for the doctors, and I can’t speak about the condition because it’s something that happened outside of football.”Even trying to get a gauge on the situation, Marrone was asked if he is fearing the worst in regards to his starting left tackle.“I’m not allowed to speak about it guys. I’m sorry about that.”"

Something outside outside of football is interesting and certainly makes one wonder what it is. Marrone’s comments don’t sound optimistic, planning to move forward as if he is not playing.

That is a big hit to a team that was looking to take a step forward and contend for a playoff spot. Bills general manager Doug Whaley said he didn’t believe his season was in any jeopardy though.

We don’t think so at this time. It’s just gonna have to see on how he progresses. We hope not,” Whaley said. “We’re still waiting on some reports on him, but it looks like it’s gonna be one of those day-to-day things and we’ll see how it progresses.”
