Ryan Anderson Rumors: Warriors view Anderson as Kevin Love replacement?

The Golden State Warriors at one time looked to be the front runners to land Kevin Love in a trade but those days seem to be long gone as the Cleveland Cavaliers are hoarding all of the attention in trade talks.

But there’s something that the Dubs could do to land a player they need and while it may not be Love it may be a guy who is on his way to either being like him or always being a poor man’s version of him.

According to NBA scribe Chuck Myron, the Dubs are in need of a superstar and that could be Kevin Love but it could also be Ryan Anderson, who has been given the title of being a Kevin Love-lite type of player.

"Ryan Anderson would look great on the Warriors, although I think, as with Love, there would be defensive concerns. I think of Anderson as a sort of Kevin Love-lite (I may have even used that term in last week’s chat), so he’d be a nice fallback option for the Warriors if the Wolves won’t budge. Somehow I think the Warriors will pass on this, though, if only because I think they want a superstar of some kind. Co-owner Joe Lacob has big dreams. Whether they’ll come true remains to be seen, of course."

Anderson is such a good fit for the Warriors but there’s no saying that he’s going to find his way out west to Oakland. The focus for Golden State will likely remain on Love though, as he hasn’t been snatched up by the Cavaliers yet and there’s no saying that a change of heart could happen that lands the All-Star forward in Oakland.
