Kobe Bryant hits home run in Richard Sherman’s softball game (Video)
Los Angeles Lakers legend and sure fire NBA Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant took part in Richard Sherman’s celebrity softball game yesterday at Safeco Field in Seattle.

Sherman shared a picture with Bryant at the game.
Apparently Kobe took part in the home run derby portion of the event, and unfortunately did not do too well.
Later on in the evening, however, Kobe showed his prowess at bat during the actual game by smacking a home run out of the park. Check out Kobe’s homer in the video below.
That is some good old fashion redemption right there for Kobe. Now the question is, will he follow in Michael Jordan’s footsteps and try his hand at baseball once he retires from the NBA? We sure hope not.
Kobe will return to the Lakers this season after missing most of last year due to injury. During his sparse minutes last season, Kobe looked impressive, but certainly had work to do to get back in shape. It will be interesting to see if he is able to reach the elite level fans around the globe are accustomed to see him playing come the start of next season.
