It would seem as if series creator Kurt Sutter is not messing around when it comes to pulling out all the stops in the final season of his hit FX Original Series Sons of Anarchy.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series has added yet another notable member to the cast of the seventh and final season of the biker drama.
It would seem as if actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner will be joining the cast in the upcoming season, which is set to premiere on September 9th.
That’s right, ladies and gentlemen…Theo Huxtable is coming to Charming. The difference is, it is going to be a very different type of role for him. He is definitely not the sweet and endearing child of Dr. Cliff Huxtable anymore.
In Sons of Anarchy, he will be playing the role of a man named Sticky, who is a member of the Grim Reapers and the right hand man to T.O. Cross.
According to the report, Warner will be appearing in at least two episodes of the series; the first of which is the Season Premiere, which is always one of the most intense of the Season.
The announcement of Malcolm-Jamal Warner joining the cast comes on the heels of three other casting announcements for the upcoming season.
Shock Rocker Marilyn Manson will be joining the cast as a prison shot-caller named Ron Tully. The Bridge actress Annabeth Gish will be rolling into Charming as well in the role of Sheriff Althea Jarry. Jarry will be stepping in for the recently departed Sheriff Eli Roosevelt.
In one of the latest additions, Hole frontwoman Courtney Love will also be joining the residents of Charming as Ms. Harrison, Abel’s preschool teacher.
This is going to be the final ride for the boys of SAMCRO, so you know that Kurt Sutter has an amazing season planned for the fans. I guarantee you that you won’t want to miss a moment of the action.
Sons of Anarchy will begin its final ride on September 9th at 10:00 p.m. on FX.
