Some might say Robert Griffin III has too many options. With pass catchers like DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon, Andre Roberts and Jordan Reed, Griffin may be hard pressed to distribute the ball to all his excellent playmakers. With all that competition over receptions, those pass catchers are going to have to maximize their touches.

“These guys know that there are some weapons around them on the field, so they don’t have all that pressure on them,” Griffin told 106.7 The Fan on Monday in Washington, via CSNWashington.com. “But they also know when they get the ball, they are going to have to do something with it because there’s no guarantee that the ball is going to come to them 10, 15 times a game. They might only get three or four of five shots a game, and they have to make the most it.”

Good thing Jackson, Garcon and Roberts averaged 16.2, 11.9 and 11.0 yards per reception respectively. These receivers are not strangers to stetting out their receptions. But Garcon and Jackson are coming off career years in targets, as CSN Washington Tarik El-Bashir points out. RG3 can only throw the ball so many times per game. He’s not worried about where he’s throwing the ball or distributing equally. He has faith in the offense and he expects a winning mentality.

“The great thing about having so many weapons is all these guys have great attitudes about them,” he said. “They are great character guys. At the end of the day, when you win everybody’s happy.”
