Few games have seen the level of success that Sony and Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us has experienced. The Last of Us took gamers by storm, and was so amazing on the PlayStation 3, that not only did it win a handful of awards (one of which was Game of the Year), but also is being Remastered for a special PlayStation 4 experience.
With The Last of Us set to release for the PlayStation 4 on July 29, Naughty Dog is kicking off the launch with The Last of Us Live from Santa Monica on July 28.
Geoff Keighley will be hosting The Last of Us: One Night Live.
The show will feature live readings of some of the games scenes, with actors Troy Baker, Ashley Johnson, and others. They will be performing under the direction of Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann.
Gustavo Santaolalla, the composer behind The Last of Us, will also be present to perform parts of The Last of Us original soundtrack during the event.
While it is obvious that not every fan can get to Santa Monica on such short notice, for only one night, The Last of Us: One Night Live will also be streamed on Twitch, YouTube, and the PlayStation Network’s Live Event Viewer. Should you be able to be in attendance, free tickets are still available.
The Last of Us: Remastered is one of the most anticipated games on the PlayStation 4 this year, and The Last of Us: One Night Live, seems like a pretty impressive way to kick off the excitement.
