Something is off with this picture of pro water skier Chris Parrish meeting Seahawks coach Pete Carroll. I just can’t quite put my finger on it.

More from NFL

Oh, I know what it is: the guy who is supposedly Pete Carroll is not remotely Pete Carroll.

WTF, Chris Parrish? Every silver-haired guy in a Seahawks shirt is Pete Carroll to you? How many Pete Carrolls does this guy think there are? Like, thousands?

No, Chris Parrish. There is only one Pete Carroll. Like the true ring, there can be only one.

That guy in the picture who you’re shaking hands with so proudly, that is…I don’t know who that is. It could be anyone. The best I can do is narrow it down slightly by eliminating one possibility:

It’s not Pete Carroll.

It’s also not Carrol O’Connor or Pete Hamill. If that helps.

Clearly, this guy has gotten too much salt water in his eyes. Don’t pro water skiers wear protective goggles? You’d think they would wear protective goggles.

Either his eyes don’t work or he is an idiot. Take your pick.
