After announcing the game at E3 in Los Angeles back in June, Crystal Dynamics has finally given fans the date when they will be able to enjoy some more Laura Croft action with Laura Croft and the Temple of Osiris.
In a conversation with IGN, Crystal Dynamics executive producer Scott Amos revealed that the game will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on December 9, right in the middle of the holiday shopping season.
“We look at this game and we put it together in a way that we just love it,” Amos told IGN. “It’s a fan favorite, it’s something that we want to do right.”
Laura Croft and the Temple of Osiris, which adds two new players to the game, is a four-player co-operative experience, a first for the franchise. It’s a top-down dungeon crawler that follows up the wildly successful Laura Croft and the Guardian of Light.
This game will give players a bit of a layover between now and the release of Rise of the Tomb Raider, which is currently slated for a 2015 release.
